{"id":2175,"date":"2024-10-20T07:51:04","date_gmt":"2024-10-20T07:51:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.uyghuracademy.org\/?p=2175"},"modified":"2024-10-20T07:51:32","modified_gmt":"2024-10-20T07:51:32","slug":"international-context-and-methods-for-national-struggle-training-program-started-in-istanbul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.uyghuracademy.org\/?p=2175","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;International Context and Methods for National Struggle&#8217; training program started in Istanbul"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>The &#8216;International Context and Methods for National Struggle&#8221;&#8216; training program for young people, organized by the Uyghur Academy to train pioneers for the Uyghur cause, has begun in Istanbul.<\/em><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/en.uyghuracademy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/akademi1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2176\" src=\"https:\/\/en.uyghuracademy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/akademi1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"927\" height=\"493\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The long-term training program titled &#8220;International Context and Methods for National Struggle&#8221;,&#8221; aimed at preparing pioneering individuals from Uyghur youth for the East Turkestan struggle, started on October 12-13, 2024, at the Sefak\u00f6y office of the Uyghur Academy in Istanbul. The two-day event featured lectures by Uyghur and Turkish scholars.<\/p>\n<p>The program was attended by 20 Uyghur students enrolled in universities across various cities in Turkey. Dr. Ferhat Kashgarli, Secretary General of the Uyghur Academy Foundation, delivered the opening speech.<\/p>\n<p>The first lecture was presented by Prof. Dr. \u00d6mer Kul, a faculty member at Istanbul University, on &#8220;The 20th Century East Turkestan Independence Struggle and the Three Masters.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.akademiye.org\/ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/O3-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>In the second lecture, Dr. Ferhat Kashgarli gave a presentation on &#8220;The importance of organization in East Turkistan National Struggle&#8221;.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.akademiye.org\/ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/F3-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>The third lecture was delivered by Dr. G\u00fclzade Tanr\u0131da\u011fl\u0131, a lecturer at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and chair of the Uyghur Academy Foundation\u2019s board of directors, on Uyghur national traditions.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.akademiye.org\/ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/F3-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>The fourth lecture was presented by the head of the publicity unit of the Uyghur Academy Foundation, titled &#8220;The Uyghur Issue in Turkish Media.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.akademiye.org\/ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/T6.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>In the fifth lecture, Prof. Dr. Abdulhamit Av\u015far from Istanbul Commerce University made a presentation on &#8220;Media and the East Turkestan Cause.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.akademiye.org\/ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/A2-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>The first part of the training program was highly productive, with active participation from the youth and engaging question-and-answer sessions at the end of each lecture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The next phase of the program will continue in Istanbul on November 16-17.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8216;International Context and Methods for National Struggle&#8221;&#8216; training program for young people, organized by the Uyghur Academy to train pioneers for the Uyghur cause, has begun in Istanbul.
